Why create a new organization?
The settlement, high school and university organizations of the Rákóczi Association and their membership represent the most important base of the Association, which is why the Association offers them many great opportunities.
Our organizations can submit an internal application annually for a budget of 150 thousand forints to implement their own ideas and plans with the help of the support.
The Association organizes about 100 events annually, to which only its organizations and the membership associated with them are invited. Our events are a great forum and opportunity for the Hungarians of the Carpathian Basin to meet, regardless of age group or region.
In addition to all this, the organizations of the Association, with their nearly 30 thousand members, form a strong community that wants to do something for our cause, which is worth becoming a part of.
Details of the organization's creation
To establish a settlement, high school or university organization, at least 10 (new) members are required. The organization wishing to be established organizes its founding meeting, during which the new members fill out their membership declaration, then elect the organization’s officers – the president, vice president and economic manager. The president, as the organization’s representative, fills out and signs the cooperation agreement in 2 copies. An attendance sheet and minutes must be kept at the founding meeting. Please send the original copy of all documents by post to the mailing address of the Central Office (H-1255 Budapest, Pf. 23.)! After the approval of the Rákóczi Association’s presidency, the organization’s establishment becomes official and it can begin its work.
